Last term the Scouts took part in a range of Creating Challenges such as Long Exposure Light Painting and Creative Cake and Cookie baking and decorating. They engaged in some traditional based Scouting activities such as making catapults using bamboo canes and route care planning through puzzles based on a map of Brownsea Island (which many had visited on their Summer Camp).
There we lots of active and team based activities including Laser Quest, Code Breaking and plenty of other games. We also took part in cross-section and family activities including the Bonfire and Fireworks at Frylands Wood and the end of year Pantomime at Bromley Theatre.
As well as working towards a number of activity badges, 11 Scouts have achieved their Creative Challenge Award which is one of the nine that contribute to the Chief Scouts Gold Award.
