This term, the Scouts took part in a range of Physical and Skills based Challenges from basketball, bowling, parachute puzzles to 3 different versions of football. As part of this there were lots of team based and problem solving activities. The Scouts were also encouraged to increasingly suggest and run games to build their involvement in the programme and in leading activities.
They experimented with a range of STEM based topics such as Film Canister Rockets, an Airplane distance challenge, indoor Bridge Building with Pioneering Poles and assembling and dismantling Electronics circuits including Bristle Bugs and the Steady Hand Game. The Scouts planned and cooked superb 3 course meals on a budget in the hall as part of a Troop Cooking Competition. We also took part in the District Cooking Competition in which the teams produced amazing meals on a tight budget.

4 Scouts have achieved their Skills Challenge Award. Many others only have the Home Skills section of it to complete and the form to return.

Many of the Scouts achieved the Chef and Scientist activity badges as well as working towards a number of other activity badges such as Electronics.
